Having showed you Catherine’s knitting project yesterday I thought that it would be a good idea to continue with projects from one of the other Craft Barn ladies. Lets have a peek into Les’s kntting bag……..

Les who is the Craft Barn manager has been very busy recently, knitting for her daughter’s baby who is on the way in April. Along with her current projects that are on the go at the moment she also brought in 2 lovely little baby garments that she had just finished. Les has more than one baby due this year in her family so lots of baby clothes for both girls and boys are being knitted.

This sweet little cardigan / jacket is knitted in white supersoft aran. The small immitation diamante buttons finish it off perfectly, they can be bought online in the buttons section.

The other baby jacket Les recently completed is this boys hooded jacket in Sirdar Supersoft Aran. We no longer have the shade in stock but there are plenty more to choose from click here to take a look. This will be a lovely jacket for her grandson, keeping him warm and toasty.

We decided to dress up the shop mannequin (Billy) so that you can see how it fits. The pattern is Supersoft Aran 1844.

On to what Les is knitting now………………

A beautiful scarf in the Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe yarn. Les is making the scarf for herself. The shade 203 (Frost) she has chosen is a gorgeous combination of colours greys, lilac and blues perfect for spring. Hopefully we will get to see the finished scarf very soon.
