A while back now – back in March I showed you the start of Yvonne’s Winnie the Pooh rug kit (dppt903). You can read the full blog post here. Yvonne has now finished the rug and last week brought it in for a “photo shoot”. Such a beautiful rug, both in the design and quality. This will be perfect for her first grandchild’s bedroom.

As if finishing off the rug kit wasn’t enough to be getting on with; Yvonne has been busy knitting this lovely fuchsia pink cardigan in Sirdar Flirt Dk for her daughter’s bridesmaid dress. At the moment this shade of Flirt dk (shade 229) is on offer at only £1.98 a ball. The pattern is featured in the Sublime Third Luxuriously Exotic Soya Cotton Hand Knitting book (632 sublime book).

The detail in the lace edging is very effective. Yvonne said that once she had done a couple of rows it was an easy pattern to follow. Sometimes it can be quite daunting having to pick up all the way around a garment, but I would confidently choose this pattern in the future after speaking to Yvonne.
