I have more staff projects to show you on this sunny Friday afternoon. Yvonne has just finished this super cute ABC blanket in the Sirdar Snowdrops Chunky yarn. The blanket has been knitted plain with a white border edging.

Rather than following a blanket pattern Yvonne decided on the size she wanted the pram blanket to be and then worked out how many stitches she needed from the tension on the ball band e.g 14sts for 10cm. The blanket including the border is approximately 50cm x 75cm. The red shade is 348 lollipops and the white is shade 350.

Once the blanket was complete Yvonne felt it needed that little extra something to finish it off.  A crocheted flower was the first idea that came into her mind but as she does not know if her daughter is having a girl or a boy so she decided to go with ABC. This looks great!

Yvonne’s NEXT project is already half way through, there is no stopping her! A Winnie the Pooh latch hook rug kit (dppt903). The kit is available to order online for just £32.57. When she took the kit out of the box ready for its photo, everyone here in the office was admiring it such a lovely design.
